We use cookies and similar technologies to:

Keep the Site secure and functional.

Remember your preferences.

Analyse traffic and improve services.

Deliver relevant advertising.

Enable social media sharing.

You can accept, reject, or adjust cookie preferences at any time.

Refusing non-essential cookies will not prevent access to EPC Hub, but some features may be limited.

We do not use cookies to collect or infer sensitive personal data (e.g., health, religion, political opinions).

1. Definitions

For clarity:

“Cookies” include cookies, pixels, SDKs, beacons, and device fingerprinting technologies.

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identifiable individual, as defined by UK GDPR.

“Controller” means the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (EPC Hub, unless otherwise noted).

“Third-Party Cookies” are set by external service providers, not EPC Hub.

2. Introduction

EPC Hub (“we”, “our”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform (the “Site”). These technologies help us deliver services, improve performance, enhance user experience, and support advertising and analytics.

This Policy should be read alongside our [Privacy Policy] and [Terms & Conditions]. In the event of a conflict, the stricter provision applies.

By continuing to use our Site after being presented with our cookie banner, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

3. Legal Basis for Cookies

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR:

Consent is required for all non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing, social media).

Legitimate interests / contractual necessity apply for strictly necessary cookies.

We have carried out balancing tests for necessary cookies, available upon request.

Consent (and withdrawals) are recorded both client-side and server-side. Consent is refreshed every 12 months, or earlier if material changes occur.

4. Types of Cookies We Use

Note: EPC Hub configures cookies to collect the minimum amount of personal data necessary.

5. Third-Party Cookies

We allow trusted third parties to place cookies for analytics, advertising, payments, and security. These providers act as independent controllers of your data.

We provide links for transparency but cannot guarantee their accuracy or completeness:

EPC Hub may change providers or technologies without prior notice, provided protections remain in place.

6. Duration of Cookies

Session cookies: Deleted when you close your browser.

Persistent cookies: Stored until expiry (see table above).

Deleting cookies may remove stored preferences (including opt-outs), requiring you to reapply settings.

7. Security Safeguards

We use secure cookie settings (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite) wherever possible.

However, no system is fully secure. EPC Hub cannot be held responsible for unauthorised access caused by cyber-attacks, third-party failures, or force majeure events.

8. Children’s Data

We do not knowingly use cookies to profile or target children under 13 (or 16, where applicable). If you believe this has occurred, please contact us.

9. Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers send DNT signals. Currently, there is no industry standard, and EPC Hub does not guarantee that it will respond to such signals.

12. Profiling & Automated Decision-Making

Cookies may be used to build user profiles for personalisation and advertising. EPC Hub does not use cookies for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

13. Accessibility

Our Cookie Policy and management tools are designed to be accessible (screen reader and keyboard compatible).

14. Monitoring & Enforcement

EPC Hub reserves the right to monitor cookie usage for compliance and may restrict access if disabling cookies threatens system security or business integrity.

15. Updates

This Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect law, technology, or practice. Updates will be published here with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law, Severability & Survival

This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
